How do you write a review about a book 2 of a series? What do you say to make people read not only this book, but get them to fall in love with this series the way you have, without giving too much away? That’s the dilemma I’m in right now after reading Take by Ella Frank.
Things I can say about this book. It’s beautiful. It’s full of love. It’s full of discovering that its ok to love someone you never expected to. And because of Take and Ella Frank, I will never look at oil and herb dipping sauce the same.
In Try, you had Logan pursuing Tate. You had Tate discovering things about himself that he never thought would happen. You had 2 men coming together with passion and intensity.
In Take, you have love. You have difficulty. But it’s beautiful. And it works. It shows that while you might be in love, it’s not always easy and it’s not always perfect. But it can work. And it works for Tate and Logan. Their love works for them.
This book ends, and you desperately want more. Immediately. And it’s not that it ends in a cliffhanger. Or at least not a big one. But it leaves you hanging. Because you fall in love with these characters and their love story. And even though there is another book coming, I don’t know if that will be enough. It’s one of those stories, that you don’t know if you will ever get enough of these 2 characters. And that’s what makes it perfect.
