“When you’re near, my heart doesn’t sigh, it soars.”

All throughout A Thousand Boy Kisses, I knew I was going to have to write this review. That’s what happens when you sign up to do that. But as soon as I started reading, I didn’t know how I was going to. This is a book you need to go in blind to. There are definitely things out there giving you hints, and all of them are true. You know you’re going to cry. And you will. Pure honest truth, you will cry. But when you finish, you will realize, that you have just read the most epic love story of all time. This book needs to be read and loved and talked about. So that others will read and love and talk about. Tillie Cole has done something that other authors have tried. And they have been successful. But somehow, someway, Tillie took it to another level. As I sit here, with tears still streaming down my face, I have to urge you to read this book. While it is labeled as YA, the feelings, the emotions, the actions, the love, isn’t YA. It’s timeless. You can not put an age on these characters, even though in this book, they are young. The love that they have, has no age. The experiences they have, has no age. Everything in this book, while it is written about teenagers, could also be written about 20, 30, 40 year olds. And older.

I love Sawyer Bennett and I love her books and Hawke is no different. For the past couple of weeks I’ve been having issues reading. Books haven’t been keeping me entertained for very long at a time and it’s been taking me longer than normal to finish. But not Hawke. Not Hawke at all. Not only did it keep my attention, it was unputdownable. Once I started, there was no stopping me. I fell in love with this second chance romance so quickly.

Sawyer Bennett is one of my go to authors. To me, everything she writes is always what I’m looking for at that time. She writes everything flawlessly.

Julia by Ashley Pullo

Ready for just a ton of words being thrown at you? Hopefully a ton of words. Because when I love a book and I just go for it, I freeze. I can’t tell you anything besides that I love it. And I do love Julia by Ashley Pullo. LOVE LOVE LOVE. Not only did I fall so fast in love with Julia (Hello girl crush), but I fell in love with Theo too.

Ashley Pullo might have made the perfect book couple ever. They were perfect for each other. They were perfect apart. They were just perfect. Quirky, spunky, so totally cool. I want them to be my besties. I want to hang out with them. Walk around the city. Go hang out on Long Island with Julia, because we grew up in neighboring towns, so it would be like going home and hanging with my bestie. Because in my mind, Julia and I are besties. And I know, she has a bestie in the book, but we can be a bestie threesome.

So straight honesty here, I wasn’t sure if I was going to love the book. I read Tess, the first book in the series, and I liked it. I didn’t love it. And I wasn’t so sure about reading Julia. But I’m so glad I dove right in and did it. And while they are in the same series, you don’t need to read Tess first. But I always read series in order so I felt I needed to.
