I have read so many MC books but this one was different. SO different. It wasn’t as hard as the others, if that makes sense. But I can’t say that it was lacking anything. Heather Leigh held my attention so well. I couldn’t put it down.
One of the things I loved about it was the switching of the POVs. She did that brilliantly. At first I thought, wow how is this going to work. But it totally did. I loved seeing others POVs. Not just the main characters but some of the secondary too. But it all made sense.
Nicole is a tough talking, dancing, pole teaching spit fire. You never knew what was going to come out of her mouth. And she had no problem telling everyone, especially Jeremy, exactly what she thought and how she wanted things to go.
Jeremy. How to describe Jeremy. He’s hard, he’s tough, he doesn’t take shit from Nicole, but he’s also a sweetheart. He really is sweet. Majority of the time. He can also be an ass. But I think that’s just his way of waiting Nicole out and waiting for her to realize that they were meant to be together.
I will say that, at 1 am, I am hating on Heather Leigh a bit. Why you ask. Because of the freaking ending. She needs to write faster and get the next book out. Like yesterday. She had my mouth drop open and I gasped at how this book ended.
