This book was AMAZING. I love a good M/M book. And I’ve read a good amount of them. But Repaired just did something to me. Maybe it was the difference in it from a lot of the other M/M books. Maybe it was Liam’s story. Maybe it was the way Parker loved him and took care of him in the way of letting him be himself and not pushing him to tell his story. I can’t put my finger on just what it made it AMAZING to me, except that it just was. Melissa Collins took a sensitive subject and made it into a story that is amazing.
Liam’s story isn’t unique. But it is. His story is a story you’ve heard parts of before. But it is unique to him. It’s very real world. And Melissa did an excellent job in keeping it real. And the feelings real. And the actions real. She didn’t rush anything. The timeline of events was perfect.
Parker’s story also wasn’t unique. But it also was. I loved seeing him grow stronger and stand up for himself. And his patience and love towards Liam was (trying to find an adjective other than AMAZING, which it was). It was perfect.
This love story had many levels to it. It included two men who grew so much during a short amount of time. But it wasn’t rushed. Neither one rushed each other into sharing or loving. It was all natural.

This is one book I’d love to see a sequel. Was the storyline wrapped up? Absolutely. But I want more. I want to see them grow more in love. And I want to see Liam work towards healing, even though it will never happen completely, I want to see him grow stronger. And for it to have left me wanting so much more, that shows so much about the way the story is written.
