OMG I LOVE THIS BOOK!!! I love Trey! He is the sweetest guy ever! The BIGGEST sweetheart! He is the most understand guy ever in a book. Not that he approves of everything Faith does or get mad, but he seems to get it and is patient. He doesn’t push her. He waits.
We first met Trey in Mine to Lose. He was the “other” guy. The stand in while Emogen was to figure out what she wanted. He must have learned a thing or two from that experience because he didn’t have as much patience with her. I liked Trey in Mine to Lose, but I fell totally in love with him in Mine to Steal. TK Rapp did an amazing job doing a compete book in a guy’s POV.
Faith, what can I say about Faith. Hmmm…I loved her. She is the perfect book chick. She makes Trey a better person. And she gets him. Yes, they have a past. A way back in their childhood past that he doesn’t ever really know about. But she does. And she was able to look past that. She knew he was a better person then what she perceived as a kid.
This book has a bit of a love triangle (even if you don’t like love triangle book, read this, it’s not bad), it has a bit of deceit, it has love, it has people growing to be better people. It has everything you want in a book. And it’s done so so so well. There is angst, but just enough. Nothing is pushed for the sake of it just being there. Everything that happens, works. Go read it to find out exactly what I’m saying, you won’t regret it.
