I love Chelsea M. Cameron’s books. I do. But to me, For Now, isn’t her best work. I love the story idea but for some reason, it just didn’t work for me.
For Now is the story of Javier and Hazel. We met them in the first book in the series, For Real. In For Real, we knew they were both were not into relationships. They slept around. They would flirt, but nothing would come of it. But in For Now, they decided to go for it. Have fun. Rock each others world. But then it all changes. Feelings become involved and those feelings go deep.
As I said earlier, this book, to me isn’t Chelsea’s best. I can’t quite put my finger on why. I think part of it is because it was too easy. Too quick. Two people who weren’t relationship people immediately fall in love. And they don’t deny it to each other. Its kind of like, ok, the sex is awesome, we are in love, and we are going to declare it to the world. Way to easily wrapped up into a box with a pretty bow on it. It just didn’t work.
