Synopsis
“You and I know I can’t say no.” I swallow my fear and allow my eyes to fall down to his chest, I can’t bear to look at him. “And I can’t lose you.”
Joely Gilbert, one of two head Viper Girls for the club, strives to maintain a double life both full of deceit, betrayal, sex, lust, and fear. She knows the rules of the club and the way the boss works like no other, but she is the one breaking everything she knows in order to keep the new life she has. After running from her past, she’ll do anything to stay away from it. It’s what makes her perfect for the job. It’s what makes her normal.
Everyone has a story when they arrive at the doors of The Viper Rooms.
It’s this that binds clients and Viper Girls together. Each want to forget, each want something to remember, to feel, to lust over. The Viper Rooms gives the exclusive a time in their life to get the things they need from a club devoted solely to them. No strings attached, no questions asked. But what lies beneath the surface can’t always be stopped. It can’t be silenced forever.
And Joely’s one of the girls who knows that more than anyone else.
What happens when her facade starts to break? What would Joely rather give up; the man who wants to save her, but could die trying, or the life that could ultimately kill her?
Is pleasure worth the pain?

Review
Okay, I can’t even think right now. I want to let it settle and try to actually form complete sentences, but I just feel like I HAVE to write a review this second. I’m gonna need a few seconds to pick myself up from that last paragraph though. Just be ready. Seriously.
So this is going to be jibberish. It’s not going to make any sense. But if you take anything from that, just know that I only write crazy reviews over books I adore. Not sort of like, not loved eh-ish. I’m talking ready to pick it up and reread it right now, so that my mind can get blown to pieces again.
Joely Gilbert is one of two head Viper Girls at The Viper Rooms, an exclusive gentleman’s club. But it’s not as it appears. There are so many secrets to this club, and her boss will do whatever it takes to keep the viper girls in line. Whatever. It. Takes. The fear, the punishment, the rules. It’s a terrifying place, even though the girls are taken care of from an outsider’s view. After 3 years in with 3 more to go on her contract, Joely has had enough and is ready to get out. Although she doesn’t like the life she has to lead and what she has to do, there’s one major cause for her wanting to leave The Viper Rooms.
Joely has a very strict schedule and rules that she must abide by. One of those rules is to not fall in love with a client. You can guess what Joely does huh? Yep. Jace Mason, a client. Jace started as a client but once they fell in love, he wants to help Joely escape from this awful life she’s caught in. They want each other without the fear of being caught. So…can Jace help her ? Do they get their happily ever after? Not if Clara, her boss, has anything to do with it. Ahhh, chills all over again typing that!
What I loved most about this book was that it’s not REALLY a love story. It is, but isn’t. It is by far the most creative storyline I’ve read in…I don’t know how long. You can feel it and know they’re in love from the very first page. It’s not their feelings that’s the problem. It’s the fact that he's a client. The scenes with just the two of them, it’s perfection. How they feel, how they communicate with one another, how they understand each other. They look like the perfect couple. It’s everything else that makes their lives so impossible. And you will HATE it for them.
This book is gorgeous. The writing, the descriptions, the people. Every little detail, every conversation, every sentence. It seems crazy to think that a book about a woman being abused and punished in a gentleman’s club could be described as beautiful, but how Kirsty wrote the story, it’s exactly that. I make notes while I’m reading to help with my reviews, and my notes with this one only have single words. Eloquent. Beautiful. Sophisticated. Thrilling. Shocking. Passionate. Heartbreaking. Original. Dark. I just love it. LOVE it.

Author Bio
I used to be just another Fanfiction writer! That was until one person showed real interest in my work. And then another, and then another, until I had this whole group of people reviewing like crazy and wanting original work from me. I’d spent years writing for free online, I didn’t believe I had it in me to publish something!
But I’m glad I did!! I never imagined pushing my work and striving to reach my ultimate. I never imagined I’d be the girl who started The Viper Rooms! But who am I to deny the inspiration when it hits?
I love writing, it’s a lifeline. I love creating a world that others fall into. I love having the control to make a whole new world. It’s like a dependency, an addictive one. It’s one of the things I’m extremely proud of.
As much as I complain, I love the mini dialogues that go on in my head, the plotlines that attack me when I least expect them to. The ones that jump to life at the most inappropriate times and drive me totally crazy!!
For now I split my life between writing, dreaming, working, and volunteering with children.
